Abstract

The article discusses the development of crime under the current corona crisis in relation to five selected crime areas. Through reviewing relevant studies it turns out that the current challenges can increase the risk of becoming a perpetrator or victim, although in some cases this will only become apparent afterwards. This dynamic is justified by a change in everyday routines, psychological stress, as well as difficult access to support systems during the crisis.
